Chicken and Turkey patties turn into a mush

The food itself might also be of a good quality, the problem is its consistency, at least with my dog…the turkey and chicken patties turn into a mush once cut into the bowl. Dog ate it for a week then got fed up as it sticks to the bowl and he’s sometimes unable to get it into his mouth, causing him to walk away eventually. Beef and duck are more firm but , unfortunately, when it comes
To ordering the box, you are forced to stick to the number and type of recipes indicated, can’t change it if you ever wanted more beef or venison for instance. I’ve just ordered another box yesterday, will encourage my dog to eat it, but if I still see his frustration, I’m going to have to switch to a fresh food intead of raw.

Thank you for your review. Chicken and turkey are naturally softer proteins, but they shouldn't be mushy - that's usually a sign the food has got too warm before serving. Served cold, straight from the fridge, they hold their shape. Do get in touch and we can help.

On the box - the Welcome Box has a fixed selection so you can try variety, but after that you can choose exactly which recipes you'd like. If your dog has preferences, you can build around those.

Slightly soft on arrival is completely normal, our food is made from real, whole ingredients and softens naturally as it travels. Cold to the touch means it is perfectly safe, straight into the freezer and ready when Oscar is.

I’ve feed raw before, so we’re not new to it, but what I love is the 100g patties, Fiddy is an 18 year old Chihuahua so for his daily amount of food it’s perfect as he has just under 1 a day!!! Really like the recipes available, he enjoys it, and at his age quality is paramount, Thank you for being such a genuinely caring company!!

Great presentation for the buyer looks really appetising for the dogs , but they have the final say , i fed it raw , i cooked it for them as a mince and unfortunately they said nope . I will try again at some point with the food . Thanks

Everything from ordering to delivery

Everything from ordering to delivery was easy and our parcel arrived when expected. We have just picked up our rescue dog and she had her first taste of the food tonight and she thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. I love the convenience of the patties and being to defrost the one or two required rather than having to have a big block of food in the fridge. So far so good and I’m looking forward to her trying the other varieties that we got in the pack.

My fussy eating dogs love

My fussy eating dogs love it. I have had 4 years of heartbreak trying to feed them but now, I put their down and they gobble it up. Because they are eating well now, they are more healthy and happy. Really good quality dog food. The Individual patties are very handy as no need to pre weigh. Good variety as well. However, I’ve found that, as I have 2 dogs, it’s not cost effective for me being on a limited income.

First time using Luna & Me and what a great find! Excellent quality products, a good variety - just what I was looking for. The patties defrost so quickly and are perfectly portioned and our gorgeous doggy Cleo loves them. It is good to know she is getting all her vitamins and nutrients. Great starter box for raw feeding

Great way to try out different recipes for my GSD boy getting into raw food. He loved all of them, sadly has since seemingly gone off Beefy Beef so I'll be trying different recipes to see what works best for us.

Our first time trying luna and me. Lovely packaging! My dog went crazy sniffing her food when it arrived and obviously she couldn’t wait to try it. Today was her first day eating Luna and Me. Food looks really good quality. The patties make defrosting and serving it super easy. I like that the trays are easy to rinse and are recyclable at the kerbside. The graphics on the cardboard sleeve and accompanying leaflets are visually very appealing. Disappointed that it arrives in a polystyrene box which is hard to recycle. Overall, extremely impressed with the service and will definitely be ordering again.
