So, Leo is what we call a "lockdown baby", as in we got him during lockdown. His mother was only about 4 months old when she had kittens, so Leo never really learned how to behave like a normal cat. He can't hunt very well, and is just a derpy, loveable fluffball!

Leo loves being with his humans, and his cat sister Xena. Leo is quite fussy with food, except when I tried Luna & me patties over a year ago. He goes nuts when it's feeding time, and will lick his bowl until it's all the way across the room. Since starting these patties, Leo no longer has issues with dandruff, and the hair on his back feet has grown back. Leo is silky smooth, and more playful. He will bring us a pom pom to throw, but prefers to bat it around on his own. When I had questions about a certain flavour of Luna & me, (duck flavour, which neither of my cats like, unless it's mixed with another flavour), I received such a quick response!

Leo was hesitant to try new foods, until his little cat sister Xena (tortishell/tabby) showed him that it wasn't too bad! Xena is our free spirit, all the attitude of a Tortishell, with the smarts and energy of a tabby. She's quick to learn new things, and loves playing fetch.

Leo never jumped on counters/tables until Xena did..and the look on his face was priceless, as if he was saying "we can do that??". He doesn't do it too much now, but he does enjoy grooming the Christmas tree. Leo loves to do the "meerkat pose". Oddly enough, Leo can howl/yowl, but can't really meow. But will come when called, whistled to, or if you shake something that sounds like a bag of treats.

Leo is definitely a special guy, when you're upset, he comes and sits on your lap, or if you're trying to nap..he will hog your pillow!
