Freddie is a blue silver tabby Maine Coon who has been raw fed by us from the age of 12 weeks. He is now nearly 6 years old, in perfect health and I'd like to think a raw diet has helped with that; our vet absolutely recommends a species appropriate diet as they feel so many health issues they see in practice are, at least in part, diet related.

Freddie is a very loving cat (when he wants to be) but can also be quite spicy (understatement!!) so keeping him in good health (thanks to a good diet) & avoiding too many vet trips is a bonus. When he's super happy, he sucks his foot while purring really loudly. This often happens to be at about 5.30am, thanks Freddie!

He's 8kg but still considers himself a lapcat; who cares if you lose all feeling in your legs after he's been sat on you for 30 minutes. Freddie has a very healthy appetite (to put it politely!) so we have to be very careful not to overfeed him as he gains weight very easily. Being overweight isn’t good for any cat but especially so with a large breed because of the pressure it puts on the heart and joints.

LUNA & me's patties are so convenient and it makes it really easy for us to portion control (much to Freddie's disgust I have to add!) and he absolutely loves the food so there's never any waste. The patties defrost very quickly so it's really easy to just get out what you need on a daily basis. On a general note, a raw diet means poo is much firmer and less smelly too! The reliability of the delivery service from LUNA & me is good if you're as disorganised as I am too!
