After a couple of months of researching giving my dog more of a raw/fresh diet I found LUNA & me. Edwina has been fussy since the day she came to live with us at 8 weeks old. I had tried so many different dry foods and she would go days without eating much at all. Because of this she was under weight and her coat was dull and she was malting a lot. I finally tried wet food when she was 18 months old but even that she was fussy with!

I decided I wanted to try raw food but as my dog was only 4.7kg she only needed about 100g of food a day. I had finally found a kibble that she liked and I needed to keep this in her diet for when she goes to stay with family which meant she only needed about 50g of raw food a day. When looking for raw food they all seemed to come in large mince packs which was no good to me, it would have meant a lot of wasted food as you have to use it within 3 days of defrosting. When I finally found LUNA & me I was so excited as their food is available in 100g patties. Easy to defrost and I could give Edwina 1/2 a pattie a day.

I was even more excited once we started on the raw food. All of a sudden Edwina would appear in the kitchen at the mention of food, she sits calmly waiting for her meal and leaves a clean bowl every time. I add some toppers and supplements to her meals to make them exciting and to help with her joints. Within days of her raw diet her fur was softer and shinier and she was gaining weight. She has been eating the raw food for about 3 months and is now 5kg and has maintained this weight. As an added bonus she now poos just once most days and her poo hardly smells.

I am so happy we found LUNA & me, Edwina is so much happier and healthier she can easily walk 4.5 miles and still have energy. I have been raving to everyone about raw diets for their dogs. I know it isn’t for everyone, I’m not great with raw meat but it’s so easy to serve and 100% worth it for my dog.
